PURPOSE: An ultrasound system and a method for setting eigenvectors are provided to set an eigenvector to filter a clutter signal by using the components of the Doppler signal in eigenvector direction. CONSTITUTION: A user input portion(110) receives user information. The user input portion comprises a control panel, a mouse, and a keyboard. A Doppler signal collection unit(120) gets Doppler signal to obtain a color flow image. A processor(130) forms the color flow image by using a first Doppler signal which is obtained by filtering a clutter signal. A display unit(140) displays the color flow image which is formed in the processor.
