PURPOSE: A water purifying apparatus is provided to suppress slime contained in water using zinc ionization unit and effectively purify river water using a microorganism active aeration tower. CONSTITUTION: A water purifying apparatus includes a submerged reservoir(14), a slime suppressing unit(22), and a microorganism active aeration tower(24). The submerged reservoir includes a valve opening controller(15). The slime suppressing unit implements a zinc ionization process with respect to river water. The microorganism active aeration tower applies microorganism in the river water in order to increase the dissolved oxygen of the river water and flows the river water to the submerged reservoir.
