PURPOSE: A press method of electrode foil for battery is provided to make the length of a coated application part and an uncoated application part almost equal without forming a cut-out part on an uncoated application part of the electrode foil. CONSTITUTION: An electrode foil for battery comprises: a coated part(1) in which electrode active material is spread along longitudinal direction of a current collector; and an uncoated part(2) in which the electrode active material is not spread along longitudinal direction of the current collector. A press method of the electrode foil for battery comprises: a step of elongating the uncoated part by transferring uneven shape to the uncoated part; and a step of continuously pressing the electrode foil along longitudinal direction.
