A refrigerator is provided to easily separate a rotary tray of an ice-shaving device from a rotation shaft of a driven wheel of a driving part by employing a rotation controller and to easily and automatically couple the rotary tray to the rotation shaft regardless of the manipulation of the rotation controller when operating the ice-shaving device. A refrigerator includes an ice-shaving device(40), which includes a fixed tray(42) receiving ice supplied from an ice storing part, and a rotary tray(45) mounted to the fixed tray, rotating with respect to the fixed tray to shave the ice receiving in the fixed tray to ice power, a driving part(50) for supplying rotation force to the rotary tray, and a rotation controller(70) coming in contact with a driving motor of the driving part for assigning resistance to restrain the rotation of the rotary tray.
