PURPOSE: A heater for drying paint is provided to reduce drying time due to short initial heating time and to improve durability of a carbon lamp by discharging the heat of a carbon heater to the outside. CONSTITUTION: A heater(1) for drying paint using a middle-infrared carbon lamp includes a carbon lamp(4). The carbon lamp includes: a vacuum glass tube in which both ends are sealed while a carbon heater is built in; and a heat wire emission tube in which the vacuum glass tube is inserted thereinside while both ends are opened. The carbon lamp fixes both-side insulating connectors to both ends of the heat wire emission tube. An insulating cap with a plurality of hot air vent passages is assembled.
