PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to fill uniform electrophoretic materials in a plurality of rooms and prevent electrophoretic materials from overflowing from rooms. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing an electrophoretic display device comprises the following steps. A plurality of thin film transistors are formed on a first substrate. A plurality of pixel electrodes are connected to each thin film transistor on the first substrate. A partition wall has a plurality of rooms corresponding to each pixel electrode on the first substrate. The rooms are filled with electrophoretic materials. A common electrode(154) is formed on a second substrate(152).
