PURPOSE: An inhibitor switch for a shift-by-wire is provided to improve vehicle stability by transmitting a signal of an auto transmission to an electronic control shift lever and a smart started system. CONSTITUTION: A first switch(S1) comprises a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode is electrically connected to a first input terminal connected to an ignition power source. The second electrode transfers a parker state of an auto transmission to a transmission controller. A third output terminal(Out3) and a fourth output terminal(Out4) are electrically connected to an electronic control shift lever. A second switch(S2) is electrically connected to a second input terminal in which the first electrode is connected to ground.
