PURPOSE: A base plate for installing a post is provided to prevent damage of welded parts by absorbing external force which is applied to the post after installing the post. CONSTITUTION: A base plate for installing a post(100) has a separate space which is separated from the top surface of a concrete foundation because the center is convexly formed. Fixing holes(114) in the corners and a discharge port(112) in the center are arranged. The fixing holes are formed to multiple anchor bolts installed in the concrete foundation so that a post is erectly installed in the top of the concrete foundation embedded in the ground. The discharge port is formed to discharge the water flowed into the post to the outside if needed.
