<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve durability and improve positioning precision of a movable shade without affecting formation of a light distribution pattern. <P>SOLUTION: The headlight for a vehicle is provided with a light source 11b to emit light, a movable shade 25 capable of shielding part of light emitted from the light source, a supporting frame 23 to movably support the movable shade in a prescribed direction, a driving motor 24 which becomes a driving source to move the movable shade, and a pinion gear 26 which is fixed to a motor shaft of the driving motor. The movable shade has a light-shielding part 27 for shielding the light emitted from the light source, an arm part 28 continued from the light shielding part, and a gear part 29 geared to the pinion gear. The light-shielding part is formed of a plate-shape metal material, the arm part is formed into a three-layer structure of the plate-shape metal material and a resin material, and the gear part is formed, continued from a portion of the three-layer structure of the arm part, of a resin material, and its thickness is made thicker than that of the arm part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
