<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programming method with an electronic standing order template regarding a medical pump to improve safety of a patient and entire efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The programming method includes: a step of selecting a therapy from a memory; a step of selecting a therapeutic agent for delivery after selection of the therapy; and a step of generating a standing order including data for controlling operation of the medical pump.
