<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL element having high luminous efficiency and good color purity, and provide a manufacturing method of the organic EL element. <P>SOLUTION: An organic EL element 1 includes: a substrate 2; an intermediate layer 10 formed on the substrate 2 and including a plurality of layers provided with at least a first electrode 4; a light-emitting medium layer 8 formed on the intermediate layer 10; and a second electrode 12 formed on the light-emitting medium layer 8. The light-emitting medium layer 8 includes an organic light-emitting layer 30 formed so as to be patterned for each color, and the range of a film thickness d of the intermediate layer 10 is 400 nm or more to 900 nm or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
