<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of enriching sludge capable of reducing remarkably a foaming property of a separation liquid from the flocculated sludge, and capable of enhancing cohesiveness and enrichment of the sludge, when carrying out a sludge enrichment operation in a belt enrichment device. <P>SOLUTION: This method of enriching the sludge is attained by adding a water-in-oil polymer emulsion comprising a cationic or amphoteric water-soluble polymer having a specified structural unit, when carrying out the enrichment by the belt enrichment device, to be enriched in the enrichment device after stirred to be flocculated. The water-soluble polymer is preferably one polymerized in the presence of a crosslinking monomer at the time of water-in-oil polymer emulsion polymerization, and a weight-averaged molecular weight thereof is preferably 3,000-15,000 thousands. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
