<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a varifocal lens barrel which reduces assembling errors of lenses in a lens barrel to stabilize the image performance and enable proper zooming and focusing. <P>SOLUTION: A varifocal lens barrel includes plural lens groups L1-L4 and enables all lenses to move in the optical axis direction without rotating on the optical axis in zooming and focusing operations. The varifocal lens barrel also includes a base barrel 4 which is moved rectilinearly in the optical axis direction by the rotation operation of a zoom operation ring ZR and lens frames LF1-LF4 of all the lens groups L1-L4 are supported by the base barrel 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
