<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device which can restrain the speed of insertion of an insertion body into a housing. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic device includes: a housing having a first connector; an insertion body which has a second connector connectable with the first connector and which can be inserted in the housing; a first guide mechanism provided on one of the housing and the insertion body; and a second guide mechanism provided on the other of the housing and the insertion body, and operable to guide the insertion body inserting into the housing cooperatively with the first guide mechanism so that the first and second connectors are connected with each other. The first guide mechanism includes a guide cylinder. The second guide mechanism includes: a guide pin which can be inserted in the guide cylinder; a fixed cylinder surrounding the guide pin; and a movable member having a hole piercing itself in an axial direction of the fixed cylinder, and held by the fixed cylinder so that it can be moved within a given range in the axial direction.
