<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a CPU load factor measurement in a status where software for a load factor measurement is not executed. <P>SOLUTION: A microcomputer includes a CPU (1) and a load measurement circuit (50) for measuring the load state of the CPU. The load measurement circuit includes: a cycle counter (7) capable of measuring an execution status of the entire program; a comparison range specification register (3) for specifying an address range in which a measurement target program is executed; a comparison determination circuit (4) for sequentially comparing an execution address with an output value of the comparison range specification register; and a condition matching counter (6) for measuring, on the basis of a comparison result from the comparison determination circuit, a period in which the execution address and the output value of the comparison range specification register match.
