<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk brake and a friction pad, which can suppress the drag of the friction pad by suppressing the formation of an impression to a back sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The friction pad 13 includes: a friction material 40 which abuts on a disk 11; and the back sheet 42 made of synthetic resin, which includes the friction material 40 on one surface side thereof and includes a part 50 to be supported and ruggedly fitted to a carrier at least on one side in the disk rotation direction thereof; wherein the part 50 to be supported of the back sheet 42 is formed in a thick thickness to be protruded in the direction separated from the disk 11 compared to the center part 51 in the disk rotation direction of the back sheet 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
