<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-fiber composite material with an excellent balance of lightness and mechanical strength, which can be utilized for structural materials and the like. <P>SOLUTION: The resin-fiber composite material is formed by impregnating a nonwoven fabric base material containing a glass fiber with a heat-polymerizable resin followed by curing. The nonwoven fabric base material is a nonwoven fabric that comprises, as a main component, a glass fiber only or a glass fiber and an organic fiber, and that is formed by a wet method.
