<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities for arranging firebricks for a converter furnace, which mechanically arrange firebricks that are conveyed inside a converter furnace in a predetermined position. <P>SOLUTION: The facilities for arranging firebricks for a converter furnace, include: a rotating base 16 that is rotated on a bridge 15 supported by a fixed frame 14; a ring conveyer 17 for conveying the firebrick 12 in a circumferential direction; conveyer buckets 19 for the firebrick 12, which are suspended on endless chains 43, 44 at predetermined intervals; a transverse conveyer 21 disposed in a car 20 moved upward and downward inside the converter furnace 11, and receiving the firebrick 12 from the conveyer buckets 19; a delivery chute 23 prepared to the car 20 via a support frame 22, for delivering the firebrick 12 that is conveyed by the transverse conveyer 21 in a furnace wall 13 direction; a circumferential direction pushing device 18 equipped with a first air cylinder 64, for pushing the firebrick 12 delivered from the delivery chute 23 in a circumferential direction; and a radially pushing device 28 equipped with a second air cylinder 68, for moving the firebrick 12 radially outward. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
