<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container forming device which improves formability of a paper container by enhancing the thermocompression bonding performance of a flap part by a simple device. <P>SOLUTION: In the forming device 10 for shaping a paper container, in Step S2 of a conveyor 21, an area H1 for loading hot air 24 is formed to be symmetric to one ridge of a bottom surface 13 when folding a flap part 8b in the bottom surface 13. When blowing hot air 24 to the area H1, remaining liquid content, remaining washing water, refuse or the like remaining on the flap part 8b, the bottom surface 13 and a transverse seal part 8 can be blown off. Thereafter, in Step S3, hot air is blown to an area H2 of the bottom surface 13 including the transverse seal part 8 to melt a thermoplastic resin.
