<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-functional inkjet unit in which a structure required for ink supply is modularized and can be replaced by a user when failure occurs in an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A rotating cylinder 18 having an opening part 19 is provided inside a base body of a unit that is attachable to/detachable from an inkjet printing device. Inside the rotating cylinder 18, there are provided an inkjet head 25 that can freely move vertically, an ink tank 26, and an ink supply structure 27. A cleaning structure 30 and a capping structure 35 are provided on the inner face of the rotating cylinder. When the rotating cylinder is rotated, a position for protecting the head with the capping structure, a position for cleaning the head with the cleaning structure, and a position for performing printing by projecting the head downward from the opening, can be selected and set. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
