<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cigarette having effects for repelling insects without coating a chemical for repelling the insects on the skin, and capable of preventing the damage by insect bite and sting under smoking, and to provide a wrapping paper for the cigarette for that purpose. <P>SOLUTION: The cigarette includes a chemical component for repelling the insects. Citral or citronellal can be used as the chemical component for repelling the insects.
