The present invention relates to a gaming method involving a compulsory participation item and to a server for the method. For this purpose, the gaming method involving a compulsory participation item according to the present invention comprises the following steps: executing a game; receiving, from a first terminal, a use request signal for using the compulsory participation item; determining whether the user of a second terminal has acquired a predetermined amount of game money from the game money of the user of the first terminal according to a preset rate during the game; and applying the compulsory participation item in accordance with the result of the determination, thereby enabling specific users to cooperatively play games a predetermined number of times, thus preventing so-called "eat and run" and damage to general users. |
