UV BULB STRUCTURE FOR METAL HALIDE LAMP AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

<p>A UV bulb structure for a metal halide lamp and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The UV bulb structure comprises a glass shell (1) and an emitter assembly. A working gas is provided between the glass shell (1) and the emitter assembly. The cavity of the glass shell (1) is mercury-free; therefore the UV bulb structure has no radioactivity and is environment-friendly. There is no risk of explosion due to a high internal pressure of mercury vapor generated under high temperature. The working gas provided between the emitter assembly and the glass shell (1) can emit visible radiation or ultraviolet radiation to irradiate the discharge tube, which can help to start the metal halide lamp efficiently.</p>
