Provided are novel and useful improvements in a plate-type strapping mechanical system for controlling the operation of an access tripod, which mainly comprises the following elements: a position and suspension strap supported by a strap carrying plate; the strap has a clover-type cam located at the central portion thereof, this arrangement being closed by an upper plate; the tripod receives a main axis which simultaneously receives the perforated centre of a safety gear supported by a safety plate; the mechanism is complemented with a mounting jig for the aforesaid arrangement, a safety plate fastened to said plate by a pin and magnets in a magnet carrier.
