<p>PURPOSE: A system for providing advertisement information by sound recognition and a method thereof are provided to recognize the sound of an advertisement of broadcasting media through a mobile terminal and provide the information related to the advertisement to the mobile terminal, thereby enabling a user to quickly acquire additional information related to the advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A sound receiving unit(310) receives an external sound from the mobile terminal, which is recognized through a mobile terminal. An information searching unit(320) searches advertisement information related to the external sound. An information providing unit(330) provides the advertisement information to the mobile terminal. A billing unit(340) charges a bill for the advertisement information to an advertiser. A location receiving unit(360) receives location information of the mobile terminal from the mobile terminal.</p> |
