<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket dispenser capable of automatically adjusting printing density of betting tickets and its automatic adjustment method. <P>SOLUTION: During the operation of a betting ticket dispenser 1, a "position detection pattern" printed with the same pattern on three corners of a QR code 29 printed on a betting ticket is read out as a fixed print part 41, and its matching rate and a black level are calculated.
