<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light-weight molding for an automobile which shows a low elongation equal to or greater than aluminum and steel and has an excellent impact resistance and corrosion resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The molding for an automobile is a core member covered with a surface member of a polypropylene based resin or rubber material, the core member consisting of a stretched thermoplastic polyester resin sheet obtained by primary stretching in which a thermoplastic polyester based resin sheet is drawn and stretched through a pair of drawn and stretched rolls and subsequently by secondary stretching in which the same is stretched in a drawing and stretching direction at a temperature higher than a temperature of the drawn and stretched rolls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
