<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam follower capable of achieving low cost of a device and reduction of an air consumption amount. <P>SOLUTION: The cam follower 1 includes: a hollow rolling element 2; a shaft 4 inserted through a hollow part of the rolling element 2 with a gap 3 therebetween; a static pressure gas bearing unit 7 interposed between the rolling element 2 and the shaft 4 so as to support the rolling element 2 by static pressure gas regarding the radial direction; and magnetic bearing unit 9 and 10 for supporting the rolling element 2 regarding the thrust direction by magnetic force. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
