<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized inhibitor switch device with a reduced number of components capable of sufficiently securing sealability when a cover member is mounted to a terminal board. <P>SOLUTION: An inhibitor switch device for detecting a gear change position of a select lever based on an electrical circuit comprises a terminal board 1, on which a housing recess 1a is formed at a predetermined portion; a contact plate 2 formed at the housing recess 1a of the terminal board 1; an operation part 3 operating in an extension direction of the contact plate 2 according to an action of a shaft member 8; a movable contact 4 formed on the operation part 3, and sliding on the contact plate 2 to form a predetermined electrical circuit according to its contact position; and a cover member 5 mounted to the terminal board 1 while covering the housing recess 1a for almost tightly sealing the housing recess 1. Lasers are radiated to a peripheral edge of the cover member 5, so that the cover member 5 is fastened to the terminal board 1 by laser deposition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
