<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body frame for a motorcycle capable of securing sufficient rigidity, even with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A main frame 5 extending backward from a head pipe 4 is composed of an upper main frame 8 connected to a top section of the head pipe 4 and extended backward and a lower main frame 9 connected to a bottom section of the head pipe 4 and extended downward and further extended downward behind an engine. In this case, the upper main frame 8 and the lower main frame 9 are joined by being brought close to each other as they are extended backward from the head pipe 4 and branched after forming a joint section 32 of a prescribed length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
