<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a console box excellent in rigidity in a vehicular width direction and in a height direction without preparing any reinforcement wall. <P>SOLUTION: A rail 3 for lid for attaching a console lid 5 is made to extend in a vehicular traveling direction and in a height direction by making the shape of the console lid 5 of the console box an accordion style.
