<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal head which can easily adjust the amount of the warpage of a substrate, and a thermal printer including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal head X includes: a head base body 3 having a substrate 7 and a plurality of heating parts 9 disposed on the substrate 7; a radiator 1 having a first surface on which the substrate 7 is arranged, and a through-hole 1c which is opened on the first surface; a joining layer 33 interposed between the substrate 7 and the first surface of the radiator 1 and joining the substrate 7 to the radiator 1; and an adhesive 35 interposed between the substrate 7 and the first surface of the radiator 1 and adhering and the substrate 7 to the radiator 1 to fix them. The joining layer 33 has a hole 33a which penetrates the joining layer 33 in the thickness direction and is formed along the arrangement direction of the heating parts 9. The opening of the through-hole 1c on the first surface of the radiator 1 is arranged to continue to the hole 33a of the joining layer 33, and the adhesive 35 is arranged in the hole 33a of the joining layer 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
