<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase diagnostic efficiency by alleviating inconvenience of an observer's image operations. <P>SOLUTION: The number FI1 of taken images incidental to radiological image data G, patient information FI2, a photographing direction FI3, and a photographing time FI4 are acquired from the radiological image data G. It is determined whether the radiological image data G is two-dimensional image data G2 or three-dimensional image data G3, on the basis of all the acquired pieces FI1-FI4 of incidental information. When the radiological image data G is the three-dimensional image data G3, a chest wall is set horizontal and three-dimensionally displayed.
