<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine for turning a backrest and an ottoman with only one driving source, in which the ottoman is enabled to turn prior to the backrest turning. <P>SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine includes a backrest frame 45 moving toward a side over which the backrest angle falls, and a seat frame 35 moving toward the front of the chair. The seat frame 35 is provided at the front side thereof with an ottoman frame 40 and a leg driving member 61 which are pivotally supported by the seat frame 35. The ottoman frame 40 turns as the leg driving member 61 turns. The leg driving member 61 is provided with: an electric lift mechanism 70, pivotally supported on a base frame 21 and pivotally supported below the joint of the seat frame 35 and the leg driving member 61, for biasing the seat frame 35 toward the rear side of the chair; and a biasing mechanism 75 for making the force required for the seat frame 35 to advance bigger than the force required for the ottoman frame 40 to rotate, when the backrest frame 45 is in upright position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
