<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make uniform cooling attainable and to improve the quality of a steel sheet after cooling by applying the nozzles of a header with which a columnar cooling water is jetted to the upper surface of a steel sheet in a stable state, a cooling device and a cooling method using these nozzles. <P>SOLUTION: The nozzle is composed of an outer nozzle and an inner nozzle which is shorter than the outer nozzle in length and, by making a part of the nozzle into a double-pipe structure and so that cooling water outflow port at the lower end of the inner nozzle may be situated in the upper part than the cooling water outflow port at the lower end of the outer nozzle, and consequently the columnar cooling water is stabilized. Further, the distribution of the flow velocity is also made more proper by chamfering the inside of the tip of the lower end of the inner nozzle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
