<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembling device and an assembling method capable of assembling a plurality of kinds of assembling components to a workpiece with a compact and inexpensive constitution, and easily changing the assembling positions of the assembling components. <P>SOLUTION: The assembling device 10 includes a workpiece feed unit 20, an assembling unit 30, and a controller 41. The workpiece feed unit 20 and the assembling unit 30 allow a workpiece feed slider 22 and an assembling slider 33 to slide based on positional information transmitted from the controller 41.
