PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus capable of considering the throughput and power consumption of an own apparatus and also performing image processing without deteriorating visibility.

SOLUTION: A portable telephone for displaying a display content in a display area by magnifying or reducing an input content includes: a display magnification acquisition part 32 for acquiring a display magnification; an image signal format selection part 35 for selecting an image signal format in magnifying or reducing the input content between multiple predetermined image signal formats with a degree of visibility in the display content as determination reference; and a magnification and reduction processing part 36 for magnifying or reducing the input content through the use of the image signal format selected by the image signal format selection part 35.
