<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting blade that produces an excellent cut section while improving chipping resistance. <P>SOLUTION: A slitting tool 1 has a disk-shaped cutting blade (an upper blade) 3 having a cutting blade 35 while an outer circumferential surface 38 is formed continuous to the cutting blade 35, and the outer circumferential surface 38 is continuous to an opposing main surface 33. Further, a cutting blade (an upper blade) 3, in which an R-curved surface 40 is formed between the outer circumferential surface 38 and the opposing main surface 33, and abrasion damage 42 is present in the diagonal direction inclined by θ=(+5° to +10°) in the advancing direction of a workpiece with respect to the radial direction of a disk orthogonal to a ridge of a cutting blade 5 in the outer circumferential surface 38 and the R-curved surface 40, and abrasion damage 41 is present in the opposing main surface 33 parallel to the ridge of the cutting blade 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
