<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel resin composition for coating that has excellent water resistance, alkali resistance, weatherability, and drying characteristics. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for coating (A) contains as principal components: one of or both of drying oil and a drying oil fatty acid; polyol; and isophthalic acid; and is obtained by performing direct polymerization or depolymerization by a transesterification reaction of a polyester resin in which a polybasic acid component mainly comprises isophthalic acid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
