<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spindle device which is increased in rigidity to improve the machining accuracy and can stably and reliably supply the base oil of grease to the raceway surfaces of the outer rings of angular ball bearings which are positioned on the front end side of a spindle. <P>SOLUTION: This spindle device is configured by supporting the spindle 20 by the plurality of angular ball bearings installed in a housing while the rear surfaces thereof face each other. A grease container 2 filled with grease is provided to the inner periphery of the outer ring 3 on the rear side of the angular ball bearing positioned on the front end side of the spindle 20. A gap formation piece the front end of which is positioned near the raceway surface of the outer ring 3 and which forms a gap allowing the base oil of the grease in the grease container 2 to seep therethrough is provided to the grease container 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
