The present invention relates to a device and method for a resource search based on a combination of multiple resources. The invention comprises a database having stored information on a technical terminology dictionary which defines technical terms for each technical field and context patterns; a technical term recognition and relationship generation module for recognizing, by resource, technical terms in an input document using the technical terminology dictionary and for generating relationships between the recognized technical terms using the context pattern information; a knowledge base construction module for mapping and storing, as integrated ontologies, the recognized technical terms and relationships between the technical terms from multiple resources which are different from one another, and for expanding an integrated knowledge base, by performing reasoning over the integrated ontologies; a type selection module for receiving the type of resource and the type of research body inputted using a type selection screen provided for selection of the type of resource and the type of research body in a technology field when a user inputs a request to provide resource search information in the technology field; a resource search information acquisition module for obtaining one or more representative research bodies corresponding to the type of research body in the technology field and for obtaining resource search information, on the obtained representative research bodies, corresponding to the inputted type of resource, by searching the integrated knowledge base; and a resource search information generating module which provides a graphic display on the resource type which is to be the axis of the obtained resource search information. Therefore, according to the present invention, the ability to predict future trends is a resulting effect, technology trends can be identified in the relevant research bodies, and provided is a graph sorted by year on search information based on the type of resource and type of research body inputted by a user.
