<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road vehicle cooperated illumination system capable of carrying out control so that head lamps of a vehicle and road illuminating lamps are cooperated. <P>SOLUTION: For example, the case that power consumed by the head lamps 17 of the vehicle is desired to be reduced and the case that the illumination intensity of the head lamps 17 cannot be sufficiently secured are detected as the operation-related information of the head lamps 17. Then, based on the operation-related information, a vehicle-mounted-machine arbitration unit 14 requires at least either of an increase of the illumination intensity of the road illuminating lamps 28 and the expansion of the illumination range thereof with respect to a road illuminating machine 20. When the request from the vehicle-mounted-machine arbitration unit 14 is received, a road machine arbitration unit 25 controls the road illuminating lamps 28 by a road machine control unit 27 so that at least either of the increase of the illumination intensity of the road illuminating lamps 28 and the expansion of the illumination range is carried out. As a result, the road illuminating lamps 28 can be controlled by cooperation so as to compensate for reduction etc. in the illumination intensity of the head lamps 17, the convenience of a driver of the vehicle can be improved, and safety can be ensured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
