<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid performing power transmission with foreign matter being present between a transmitting coil and a receiving coil even if they are separated. <P>SOLUTION: An embodiment provides a wireless power transmission apparatus including a first coil, a second coil, a control circuit, a third coil and a determination circuit. The first coil transmits supplied first high frequency energy to a receiving apparatus side coil via magnetic coupling. The second coil generates a magnetic field depending on supplied second high frequency energy. The third coil couples to the second coil via the magnetic field generated by the second coil to receive the second high frequency energy from the second coil.
