<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic image display device and a stereoscopic image processing method which reduce asthenopia caused during observation of a stereoscopic image and allows a stereoscopic view as usual with respect to a characteristic portion of an image. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device 1 for displaying the stereoscopic image using a right-eye image and a left-eye image comprises: movement detection means 2 for detecting the movement of the displayed stereoscopic image; a frame memory 3 for storing the right-eye image and the left-eye image; and parallax adjustment means 4 which adjusts a parallax between the right-eye image and the left-eye image with respect to an area determined to have no motion, on the basis of the detection result input from the movement detection means 2. When an area determined to have a movement is detected, the parallax adjustment means 4 adjusts the parallax between the right-eye image and the left-eye image with respect to the area determined to have no movement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
