<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent performance degradation by correctly controlling positional relations between a variable power lens and a plurality of correction lenses, in a lens type zoom optical system that has three or more driving groups. <P>SOLUTION: The lens driving device having a zoom lens driven in the direction of an optical axis, and first and second focus correction lenses for correcting an image surface movement as a result from driving the zoom lens, comprises: storage means for storing the positional relations between the zoom lens, the first focus correction lens, and the second focus correction lens for each predetermined focal distance; position detecting means for detecting the position of the second focus correction lens; and control means for controlling the driving of the first and second focus correction lenses. The control means corrects a difference in image surface position, caused by a difference between the position of the second focus correction lens stored in the storage means corresponding to the position of the zoom lens and the position of the second focus correction lens detected by the position detecting means, by movement of the first focus correction lens. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
