摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing the content per unit dry weight of at least one or more kinds of components selected from the group consisting of amino acids, potassium, carotenoids, ascorbic acid and vitamin B6 in tomato fruits. <P>SOLUTION: Far infrared light in the range of 700-750 nm wave length having the strongest light intensity is irradiated to tomatoes after the end of a light period to increase the amino acid content and potassium content per unit dry weight of the tomato fruits. To increase the carotenoid content, ascorbic acid content and vitamin B6 content per unit dry weight of the tomato fruits, far infrared light in the range of 600-700 nm wave length having the strongest light intensity is irradiated to tomatoes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
