<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erroneous insertion preventive structure of a connector, which prevents a unauthentic plug from being wrongly inserted in a receptacle. <P>SOLUTION: A first shield case 16 of a receptacle comprises: an arm 18 folded in front from a base end portion 68 fixed to a rear end portion of an upper surface wall 16a and extending toward a front side; a stopper wall 20 provided at a free end portion 66 of the arm 18, projecting from the outside of the first shield case 16 into the first shield case 16, and contacting with a unauthentic plug when the unauthentic plug is inserted; a plug receiving portion 22 provided at the free end portion 66 of the arm 18, integrally formed in parallel on the stopper wall 20, projecting from the outside of the first shield case 16 into the first shield case 16, and contacting with an authentic plug when the authentic plug is inserted; and a hole 24 formed near an opening 14 of the upper surface wall 16a and in which the stopper wall 20 and the plug receiving portion 22 are inserted; respectively at both end portions in a width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
