<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller capable of appropriately take measures for a generated failure, even when a problem occurs in an abnormality processing. <P>SOLUTION: When an abnormality process inspection timing comes by IG OFF of an own vehicle (S130:Yes), a control part in the on-vehicle device executes an abnormality inspection process on a corresponding abnormality process (S140) to inspect whether the abnormality process is properly operating.
