<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion-resistant member which exhibits high corrosion resistance for a long period of time in such an environment that sulfuric acid and sulfurous acid coexist. <P>SOLUTION: The corrosion-resistant member, exposed to such an environment that sulfuric acid and sulfurous acid coexist, is composed of titanium, wherein the concentration of sulfurous acid in the environment is ≥300 ppm or composed of a titanium-palladium alloy. The corrosion-resistant member is suitably used for an inner wall of a device for cooling a gas containing sulfur dioxide and sulfur trioxide by bringing the gas into contact with a wall wetted with water formed on the inner wall. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
