<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fountain pen with an ink suction mechanism capable of preventing the deterioration of air tightness caused by deterioration in a moving valve member, capable of smoothing the movement of ink in an ink storage part and the flow-out of the ink, and capable of preventing a lubricant coated on an inner side surface of the ink storage part from getting into a pen core. <P>SOLUTION: An annular wall 7b formed so as to be annularly protruded toward the rear side of the ink storage part 7 is disposed on a front side inner surface which becomes the circumference of a front side opening 7a on an inner part of the ink storage part 7, a groove 7d is formed between an inner side surface 7c and the annular wall 7b of the ink storage part 7, a gap 14 which communicates with the groove 7d between a moving valve member 8 and the annular wall 7b of the ink storage part when advancing the moving valve member 8 is formed by protruding a part of the front side of the moving valve member 8 or the rear side of the annular wall 7b and making the front edge of the moving valve member 8 abut on the rear side of the annular wall 7b, and thereby, an ink discharging path 14a for discharging the ink 40a remaining in the groove 7d from the gap 14 to the pen core 20 side is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
